Yup. I do recall the TV show staring Richard Basehart. Loved it more then Star Trek at the time. I also read the Golden Key comic books based on the tv show....

I used to love that show. We used to have models of the big sub and the shuttle sub or whatever it was called. Nostalgia.

I honestly don't remember the tv show, though I probably saw it, and you did a great job with the mountainous forms of underwater---mountains, though maybe billows of water, or maybe sea plants; they're a great looming background, whatever they are. Fine abstract work. And a big billowing black mass on the right, with that squid throwing its feelers everywhere. I also love the grainy texture on the edges, and how the edges dissolve into white (they look like the edges of photos, fresh from the darkroom). And the ship is perfect. Your edge work is really terrific here. And whatever I did see way back, is conjured by this image with perfect memory. The blues are terrific and looming as well...
