I had wanted to move to Arizona so I could easily drive up to Utah and other states. it was only a passing fantasy

Beautiful formation. If your reason for thinking about moving to Arizona is to be closer to Utah, wouldn't it make more sense to just move to Utah?

I've seen all your shots, and your landscapes (like this one) have been wonderful...the light on this is gorgeous, with great rich shadows and that deep reddish-yellow hue, and a beautiful clear blue sky...this is beautiful work, Richard, a statement one says so often in your work. (The clarity and light are gorgeous.) I'm back for only one per gallery, right now, due to a crush of commitments that fell on me a couple of weeks ago. I'll be back soon, but I hope you're feeling better, and I wish you better days ahead.
