This Saint Valentine’s card is so captivating; impossible not to feel in love with this gothic girl. The unusual use of the frame, the minimalist colors and of the rose, make this whole creation so unique. Beautiful!

there are some real differences between the 2 images, even though they feature the same model, in the same pose. You've varied them really well, and given mirror images of the flower, and I love the string of hearts from the woman's hands, and your framing, and that fabric background (which is varied from side to side). And how you put patches of red on her. Putting them together makes it a variation-on-a-theme...or, better, like having different versions of her, side by side. It's beautiful. (Andy Warhol made a career partly on such juxtapositions.) Even in blacks you do eye popping work. A beautiful, mysterious valentine's image.
