Description
Little info, for those who care!!!
Since I am still from the old school (already 73ig), I have difficulties with everything new, so I have nothing to do with Genesis & Co. (that's how it was already at work when every year a new PC system came for testing).
Sometimes I also use ready-made sets for my graphics, but mostly I use ready-made backgrounds, which I then process further in the Daz study, this can sometimes be quite exhausting. In the meantime I'm already something of a small professional with mixed-medium graphics.
I work exclusively with V4, M4, K4, A4 and G4, which I process in my old DAZ-Studio3, as well as with PhotoImpact10, PhotoDonut, FilterForge6 and also with the free program ON1Effects10.
Since my runtime is huge, I often have to spend hours to find what I need, but in between I change my mind very often, so that a planned elf graphic becomes a horror graphic. My husband (renecyberdoc) makes 3-4 graphics in the same time, while I'm still tinkering with the same one and I keep on doing so until I finally like it.
I'm very flexible and create everything according to my mood and never stick to a certain style, because that's what makes a good artist! That's why I am so proud of my "Artist of the Year", which I got in 2016.

I love your scene dear Ute, i find it cool looking. And great work. I also know what you meen about all the new things what is going on in the PC world. I love to create scenes only in Photoshop. You are wright that you, do your one style of work dear Ute.

Super render on this ute, scene is fantastic. I'm an old dog and rather not learn renders in daz, would me too much of a learning process for me. Then chasing countless figures/outfits and dont have the $$ to get them. But your daz skills are amazing.

I maybe an old dog, but I like learning new tricks, it's what keeps me going. My desk is cluttered beyond belief with notes..lol I learned to get around in DS when I was a tester and my use grew from there. Now it's my go to, but I'm still trying to get a handle on how to get things I make out of it. Basically I think everyone should use what works for them. :)

Looks like she's got it where it counts and so do you, Ute! I think the Mil-4 figures still have a LOT of life left in them. I use mostly Mil-4 figures in the TNA stuff, although you'll be seeing some newer DS figures in the story as it progresses. And I know well where you're coming from with trying to find stuff.. My runtimes are massive as well, with both Poser & DS.. And I keep adding stuff! LOL
I remember you getting AOY in '16 - well deserved indeed!

Un beau portrait d'espionne dans le feu de l'action ! C'est très bien de pouvoir réaliser des images très différentes et de ne pas se laisser enfermer dans une catégorie ou un style. Je pense qu'un artiste doit essayer de sortir de sa zone de confort et faire des choses différentes. C'est stimulant d'explorer les différentes facettes de la création et l'ordinateur est le plus formidable outil de création que l'on a jamais inventé !!... Merci, Ute, pour partager avec nous ton processus de création. C'est toujours très intéressant de connaître la façon dont les autres travaillent...

le principal est de pouvoir réaliser des compositions ,quelques soit l'age du programme , quand on a trouvé chaussures à son pied c'est là que l'on devient performant , c'est encore une très belle création que tu nous poste ici.

Un portrait très expressif et bien réussi! Ça me prend environ 2 ans avant d'adopter un nouveau modèle, j'utilise le Genesis 3; le Genesis 8 viendra plus tard.

nicely done, I'm working with m4 and v4 still too, I can't left them. I have been frozen with 3Delight, becouse I have poor PC and for rendering with iRay I have not nerves to wait on HQ result. They are easy poseable and I can aim to lighting and storyteling.

We all work at our own pace, I still use M4/V4 in my work though they are more in the background. I love what you do with that you use.
