It's a great head! Looks like he's happy with it himself! I'd give him a bit more brows.

Looks pretty good. Great start on the textures. The eyes need work. If you actually build the iris and map the sclara, cornea, and iris seperately the lights in your scene will interact with the geometry the way real light hits a real human eye. This will give you much more realism. Also, I agree with ThirdEye about your mesh. It looks like a great start but you need much more intracit subdivisions. Keep going and this great head could be unbelievable!

i really love to see that people do not just take characters from poser, no they do it by themselves, and this extremlx well. i like the mesh, there are not many points as it looks like, but thouse who are seemed to be on the right spot. to mention is also, that for me its the firs black male who really looks black.others i've seen are not more than pretty much colorized (nobody ever thought what big ignorance that was). i agree with more brows. you brought something new inside here. thanx

I think your texture is perfect (I can't imagine any other way to improve this). However I'm willing to bet that if this was rendered using image based lighting (HDR) or even indoor light with radiosity, he'll look even more real. Outstanding model and texture.
