Description
While out for a little ride this past early Sunday evening, I came across a most unusual scene. It was a UFO crash. I got out of my car and cautiously walked closer to examine the crash; but no sooner than I had walked a few feet, this little creature appeared from no where and approached me. He was green, of course, and carried what looked like a small ray gun...
He (it) communicated to me telepathically that "this is not what it looks like. It is not what you'd call an 'alien invasion.' So just relax. We were just casually gliding over your old Route 66 looking for a taco stand, when someone (he's standing behind me, right?) pressed the wrong lever. The rest is history. Don't worry we'll be out of here before daybreak--our Rescue and Repair Division has been notified and will be here shortly. They are very good, and you'll never know that we were here."
I assured him I also would not cause him any trouble. As I turned around to take out my smartphone to get a quick capture of this scene, he "called" out to me and said, "could you please find that taco stand and bring us a couple chicken tacos?" I did get those tacos, but when I returned to what I believed was the site, all was back to "normal." As he said, "you'll never know that we were here."
But I did have this capture...
As always, thanks for dropping by and for any comments you'd like to share...greatly appreciate your support...

Now that is spooky, a pity they couldn't stay awhile.

Things dont happen like that when I drive around. Live in Colorado a UFO hotspot so they say on history channel.
Love your creature. He looks angry that he crashed and looking to spoil someone's day.

So, you were out cruisin' near Roswell, then.... 😉
This is great fun, Barb! Good to see these guys still have glitches, even as advanced as they are. That's what they get for not updating the software on their nav computer! 🤣

Well, you are to be commended! Never before has an artist risked so much against all odds to capture proof of an alien being! Fabulous!

Well, you sure have more exciting Sundays than I do. What an adventure these little guys had, they will discuss it for years to come but they will lament that they never got the chicken tacos. Nice work! He looks fantastic; alien and friendly. I like the depth of field background.

(ya know, they're gonna come back for the tacos...they'll come in, grab the tacos, mutter some anti-human slur, and storm out) Love your writing: delightful tale! You did the space ship with grain and some blur, just like an iphone shot would be...really well done. The second creature is blurred too: really good choice. (You created genuine high ISO grain, something every owner of a non-pro camera knows way too well.) The reds are fine contrast to the dark tones, and I love the green of the creatures. A real delight. And somehow, in the context of your tale, the Superfly logo fits right in. (I'm from 2D, I don't even know what "Superfly" is! I had to learn about it for a dedi ((for rod a ways back)), but I haven't a clue. You 3D people have terms that, to an outsider, sound like you're all from Mars!) And speaking of dedis, I haven't forgotten yours: I just need to regulate my life a bit before I can do one that befits your wonderful work.
