Description

From the archives of my laptop. The A-219 D "MegaPigeon" (called such, as it unloads a lot of crap on the enemy.) Some of its pilots say that the wings are there only for looks. Used mainly as a scout, but can be equipped for surface attack or full electronic countermeasures.
This one inspired the simple model seen in some of my Bryce images (although the Bryce version doesn't have the gunpod or interplanetary setup like the orig drawing - at least for now.)
This picture was drawn sometime last summer on regular copy paper. Let me know what you think. Feel free to color or ink it, but I ask that you give me the credit for the original.

Dunno 'bout Anterians... I'll have to look at your gallery. But the Galaxy's a big place, they may or may not meet... Who knows? As for turbofans, this attack craft is configured for interatmospheric flight. Different hardmounts are used for the special engine configurations. For full scout capability, it's equipped with two TF-9720-E turbofans, two RJ-3600AR99 Scram Turbines, and Two 700 series interplanetary grade pulse propulsors. It uses whatever engines are needed. These turbines also have a "ring gate" mechanism so oxygen injection can be used above the efficient altitude of the compression stage. But that's getting tecnical. Even the fuel is a special blend of HNE-4 (Hepta-Nitro-Ethane w/ oxydizer.) It has to be contained in a secondary isolation tank of nitrogen, to keep it from going boom. But these craft usually aren't far from Shenandoah class interstellar carriers. More weapons can be carried in lieu of engines in close carrier support. But doing so makes using a gauss tether neccesary to return from planetary flight. A gauss tether may be up to 220mi long, and extends from the carrier while in geostationary orbit. Shows how tripped out my mind is, huh?
