Description
Special Notes: A new story is in production, but it won't be posted by individual draft chapters. The next story (and all future stories) will be presented as completed epubs. (I'll provide mobi or html format on request). As of right now, it will be at least another month before the next story is ready to post. I've also removed the last three years of drafts from my gallery. Some of them will eventually be re-written, plots fixed, edited, and presented back as completed epubs. The reading experience will be much better this way.

Ha...I love that you initiate a new story with delightful fairy tale child-dragon, hovering over an old, old typewriter. (Love that typewriter!) You have an old 19th C study; bare, an hourglass (a far cry from an apple watch), some old books, a little model plane---made of wood, and not balsa wood!---a box of files I assume, and, beyond the rug, an old cracked wall with a great old wooden floor. And something going on outside I'd rather not be in the midst of. It could be a sunrise/sunset, but it looks a bit apocalyptic. Delightful piece...and the first line suits the visual. Delightful.
