Description
This is the HMS Victory that I bought here at Renderosity. It is a great ship, I can hardly wait to see the world and fight the storms at sea.

She's setting to low in the water but not bad.

Good looking ship, I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun rendering battle scenes. The sails look a little blocky use the smoothing option to make them look a little more fluid. I look forward to more renders.

Yes, a little too low in the water. Any good size seas and her lower ports would be under water, sinking the ship. And as I have said to others using this model, take off the extra flags and sails. The creator of this model, placed different flag poses and different sails to be used, not all at once. Most ships only had one flag per mast flying, and sails were set according to wind/weather conditions. Light winds, most or all sails set to catch the breezes. Heavy winds, very few sails set, or realistically the masts could be torn out of the ship. Study any old master's paintings of these ships, or even early photos of ships and you will see that is the case.

Just to clarify. I posted this ship model because:1. Its the first ship model I ever bought.:2. So that others could see what a great model it is and spread the word. I have read the liner notes on day time, night time, foul windy weather and calm. Lights or no lights, etc. Perhaps I was a bit hasty in posting, and my enthusiasm over ran my good common sense. I shall be mindfull of such occurances in the future. I offer no apology.
