Description
The caliph told her of an ancient woman who lived high in the mountains to the north. A seeress, he called her, one who could see what could not be seen. Perhaps she could tell her what she wanted to know. But the winter snows were falling in the mountain passes, and the caliph cautioned her to wait until the spring. She would not listen, and left that very day.
