The Lusty should have been on her acceleration to jump point. But what effectively was the check engine light came on and Faith was not about to risk it. Thankfully there was the high port she could limp the ship into. The ship would be fixed and running again in a few days and they would try again. It wasn't deep space but it was indeed space enough for faith to feel a little better. Better enough for her to change out of her flight suit and into some civilian clothes and see if the Doc might be a scotch drinker. Cadet Roth once he found out how long they would be waiting repairs quickly asked his Captain if he could go check stuff out. Faith allowed him to once the ship was secured and after flight checks done. Roth completed them very quickly and correctly and almost as quickly as a teenager was off ship and doing the things young Cadets do. Faith and Doc wandered a few bars looking for good whiskey. While some passable scotch was found something a good deal larger was found. It showed up in the form of the largest female Faith or Doc had ever seen. She was easliy two meters high and dressed very well, and talking to cadet Roth. The pair didn't seem to notice Faith and Doc as they slide up to the bar. Faith could tell pretty quickly that The young cadet was making an impression on the blonde mountain. Faith looked over to Doc, "Ya think I should do something, I mean, we won't be here too long." Doc Butler looked at the pair, noting the couple carefully. "I don't think she'll hurt him if that's what you mean Ma'am." Doc said thoughtfully. Faith smiled at that, it wasn't what she meant but it did make her think that maybe she should relax a bit herself. "Oh?" Faith said still smiling "You don't think she's dangerous?" she added. "Well, she's far less dangerous than yourself Captain fire-hair." The doc said downing his shot and then looking towards the door. "Me?...Why Mason...I'm totally innocent." Said Faith with a touch of sarcasm. Doc looked at faith with a smile and a slow nod. "Of course Captain." he said. "Call me Faith till we depart, deal?" said Faith with a glint in her eye.
