Delphine and Marina had passed a wonderful afternoon together. Despite the bad and cold weather, they spent most of it outside talking. The sun was setting and the cold was getting stronger when they came back for their rooms that were located near the Fortress. They were near the entrance of their residence when Delphine saw Amon approaching. Seeing him made her frowned a little. Delphine didn't really liked Amon. At first, she didn't really knew why. He was always nice and polite with her and she didn't mind either the fact he was sometime flurting with her. She understood quickly that it was just a game with nothing else behind it. No, it was something else and it took her some time to find what it might be. It was some kind of jealousy she felt against the boyfriend of Marina. Since her friend was dating him, her and Marina were seeing each other less often and she felt a little alone despite the fact she was spending time with Omdeo and had sympathize with some other members of the Guild of Adventurers. It was one of the reason why she asked Marina to train her in sword wielding, to spend more time with her. But was her loneliness the only reason who made her jealous of Amon? It was a question that had crossed her mind, but she had preferred eluding it. Marina saw the change of expression of Delphine and looked at the direction she was staring at and was quite surprise to see it seemed to be provoked by Amon. She choose to say nothing for the moment, but she thought she might have to have a conversation with the young magician about that. When Amon reached them he kisses Marina and saluted Delphine, then he looked at them for a second and said trully impressed: "You both look incredibly beautiful and elegant in these dresses. - Thank you darling, responded Marina blushing a little" Delphine as a response smiled politely. "I was searching for you, continued Amon talking to Marina, I have just seen Omdeo and I will..." Amon didn't had the time to finish his sentence, because he was interrupted by a strong feminine voice talking in a language that he couldn't understand. "I have been lost more than once, but the ancesters must have guided me today. I thought it would take me days or weeks to find you in such a big city." The voice was coming from behind Marina and Delphine. Marina who would have been able to recognise that voice everywhere, turned then exclaimed with surprise: "Sigrid?!" Marina was in such an awe that she was incapable to move or say a word, so Sigrid spoked again, always in her native language. "I see that you live an easy life here, she said crossing her arms and raising one side of her mouth in a smile. I almost haven't recognise you in those garments, little sister." Finally, Marina regained her voice and mind and she exclaimed once again: "Sigrid! What are you doing here?" Marina grabbed her older sister by the shoulders then she hugged her tightly. Sigrid hugged her in return, visibly as happy as her sister by this reunion. Then Marina took Sigrid by her shoulder and looked at her silently for several seconds, still incredulous of her presence here, at least a thousand kilometers from their home. While Marina and Sigrid was greeting eachother, Amon came closer to Delphine and asked: "Are you understanding what they're saying? - Just few words, I'm better in High and Wood elvish, but I think that woman is Marina's sister, she said disconcerted. - What? Really?" They both looked more intensively at the tall blond Nord woman. Sigrid's face looked harder and colder than the one of Marina but resemblance could be seen, especially in the cheeks and jaw area. She was also a little shorter than her younger sister, even if she was still a lot taller than the average human you could find in Tyrnaelva (the Main Continent). You could see resemblance in her chest area too, that was more developed than the one of the basic woman and Delphine asked for herself if it was a physical trait of nordic women. Amon, with his exercised eyes also noticed that Sigrid seems to be an experimented warrior. "What are you doing here, asked Marina finally, with some worrieness in her voice. - I'll be straight, responded Sigrid now very serious, our town has been attacked by a hord of Orcs several month ago. - What ?! asked Marina shocked. - I wasn't there when it happened, but it was a night attack, continued Sigrid. Some of them must have sneaked in and killed the guards protecting the north gate, then they have opened the door to let in the full horde. Due to the surprise, it has been a complete slaughter and the village burned almost entirely. - By the ancestors, exclaimed Marina. And mom?! And dad?! How are they?! Asked Marina, her face turning pale. - Don't worried for mom. She was with me at Floilogn to see grand-pa and grand-ma at the moment of the attack. Dad howether, she took a pause, has been greatly wounded by the chief of the orcs horde. The weapon it used must have been magic, because dad's wounds refused to heal, despite the efforts of our shaman. The only reason he was still alive when I left, it's because he is the strongest man you can met." After few seconds she added, almost for herself: "I hope he still alive." - And Sven and Svadilfari, asked Marina, they were with you at Floilogn?" Sigrid didn't responded at first, clenching her jaws, what she had to say was clearly difficult. "Sven is dead. He... he has been beheaded by the orcs leader. - No!" Marina reach a hand in front of her mouth in shock. "What's about your son?" Once again, Sigrid did not respond right away. She lowered her eyes then looked aside. Her eyes were full of tears and her lips trembled for a moment but she didn't cried. Instead she regain a cold stance. Then she said: "They took him. - What?! - They took him, Marina, her voice broked a little when she repeated, but once again she refrained her cries. The orcs haven't attacked the town only to pillage it. They were searching for slaves. They killed the warrioress, but took the other women with them and took the children old enough too. As for those they found that were too old or too young... they killed them all, Marina." Marina was like stunned. Delphine who had understood enough of the conversation said in a whisper: "How awfull! not realising she was saying it out loud." Amon, even if he didn't had comprehended any word, understood that something was really wrong. He went to Marina and took her by the shoulders, she was shaking. "I don't know what is happening but it seems grave.
