Description
I heard a Walmart was closed among other businesses today because of two cases of Corona virus in the same area. I went to another Walmart this morning and many of the shelves are empty. one good thing has came out of the situation. someone in Tennessee had bought many supplies that are in high demand now and the stuff was for sale at Amazon for way above the regular prices. I think Amazon put an end to it. I hope he has to donate the things to the food banks just to get rid of the items

This is a beautiful shot.
I'm thinking that in about a week, a lot of people are going to realize that, in their panic, they stocked up on food they don't like. Then the food banks are going to benefit when they give it all away.

Water is so fascinating when it’s frozen like all of these photos are. I love those tendrils off the top of the wave on the left. I would never have imagined waves did such a thing without this wonderful stop-action photo. Amazing!!

Beautiful capture. People go crazy when then they don't have too. We are going grocery shopping tomorrow and hope the feed supply is at least in tack enough to get a few basic supplies.

I love these ocean shots. Wonderful curls here, Richard, the two edge curls look like the arms of a lonnnng swimmer. You caught a great moment here. (For the Pacific, these are pretty easy waves! It must be a quiet day.) Nice expanse of water too...
Yes, Amazon finally clamped down on the price-gougers. Thank god. Some Amazon vendors are really decent. But others buy their goods at sales, and then sell them for high prices. And at a time like this, they shoot those prices wayyyyy up. (40 bucks for a 4 pack of toilet paper. Man, that's good toilet paper! You have to have gold and silver in your intestines to qualify for that stuff!) Thanks for having a conscience, Amazon. I agree those vendors should donate their items. Some of those vendors work out of their living rooms, and some have put their children through college on the profits they've made through high prices. It's the wild, wild west out there...
