Description

I was going in until I seen the line. I had to order some disposable gloves from amazon since all the stores are out. I went in to walmart and there were empty shelving with nothing except dust. an employee told me the paper goods ran out last week

Everyone is planning to stay home for a while I guess. They something new to not do - every few hours it seems.

Is it terrible of me that when I see a crowd of people panic buying like this I want to yell, "you're not laughing at the preppers now, are you?"

Same here, when you tell people not to panic, they panic!

Oh, stay away, Richard! Your health is more important! Going shopping in rubber gloves today!

Panic obscures reason, I have seen in recent days that if the situation were not serious there would be laughter

I see it's just like in France. On Saturday I left for my spa treatment 150 kilometres away. As I was leaving for several weeks I cut the electric meter, I had emptied my freezer. Except that I came back home because the spas are all closed from today. Yesterday I couldn't walk, so I went to the nearest store and the shelves are empty...

It appears this world/reality main motivation is fear and greed during times of crisis. The people with greed prey on the people with fear. Buy up what is needed and charge 7 to 10 times the value to those who panic. Myself I am just passing through. I feel earth is a nice place to visit but I do not want to live here. So goes the proverb-United we stand, divided we fall. Stay safe and help your neighbor if you can.

So many are acting like lemmings or sheep! So many have been indoctrinated! I agree with OmniFX. Concentrate your efforts towards your health, towards your Lord and towards your loved ones! Know that these events are the test that will differentiate the values of each one of us. Very revealing picture1

Yep, lines have been at Costco like crazy and other stores. I spent a hour only in line at store last friday. Crazy indeed. I got my tp early last week. Had about twenty pkgs left at time.

Take care out there.

The madness of it! If they find a cure tomorrow what will they do with all the toilet paper? Very surreal.

talk about a Depression Era shot---if this were black and white, it could pass for the Depression easily (except for the cars---but they're in the edges of the shot). Your light is a dull rainy light, which is perfect for the mood. The street is grayed out by the water, the wall is faceless, and the people look like they're just following orders, because they have no choice. It speaks powerfully of the time. Another fine capture of a very sad moment

Google "Depression Era Lines", and look at those old Depression Era blacks-and-whites (some of them are classics). You'll see what I mean. In grays, this could pass for that era, if those two modern cars weren't nestled into the sides. Impressive shot, Richard.
