Steve, I agree with your thoughts on God being our creator. I will keep you and your Mom in my prayers. I think we’re in the same boat as my Mom also has therapy 3 times a week to recover from a leg wound. If you ever need a friend to talk to I’m always here

As an archaeologist, I find I can't even watch shows like that because I'll start yelling at the screen every time they say something that I know is completely wrong.
This is a fantastic picture, though. I pray that you and your Mom both come through the current crisis okay.

Wonderful scene!....I wish your mother all the best and all other people who are particularly at risk.

Great piece of work...I there are aliens somewhere they would be disgusted if they saw us ! We all are scred by the virus but let's rely on science and on science only. Best wishes for your Mom from a guy who is a "person at risk"...

For the elderly and ill this is truly dangerous, for the rest of us, it is a hyped nuissance which will "cure" a few financially at the cost of many hard working people.
Some simple rules obeyed we hopefully will see Corona vanishing again, so stay well, keep calm (and distance), and carry on.

Well, we are all on the same boat, it's called Earth. But a lot of people don't belief that. Excellent.

Beautiful light work :)

Great work on this as always, Steve!
I sure hope to see His hand move soon to end this mindless insanity now encompassing this entire planet. I think those 'Ancient Aliens' would probably take one look at this world, shake their heads, and warp to the other side of the galaxy.
Prayers for you mom, buddy! And all of us....

Cool looking scene. Perhaps your mom's physical therapy should be done in house or postponed. Especially if someone has already tested positive from that place.
At an ealy midpoint of my life (30ish) there are a couple of cliche' phrases that I decided to try to live by. Number one is the golden rule "do unto others as you'd have done unto you". Given that I'm basically a grounded and positive person that means I treat others in like manner or I avoid those who are of unsavory intent. Granted, if you are a masochistic sociopath this kind of thinking can be bad, but I believe it is a general good rule for positivity. The other is an old phrase of "god helps those who help themselves". Whether you believe in God or not this means one should not sit idly by waiting for God to give you a sign or step in and fix everything for you. If God is the Creator, God gave you free will and that includes making your own decisions to navigate through life. Being proactive in a positive manner is a good thing for oneself and usually helps others around you. Prayer and meditation are good for self reflection and to find the voice to help you decide on the best choices to make. The best teachers I've ever had were the ones who encouraged me to be me, but not at the expense of other's free will or by allowing harm or hurt to others.
We are too small to know about a plan by God, therefore we must do the best we can in a manner of goodness and with as little judgement and prejudice of others as we can. We have all the tools and people around us we need to make it through life if we open our hearts and eyes. Pain, loss, grief and anger are part of it and we use those tools and people to get us through those hard and bad times. To me that's aspiring to God, not sitting around and waiting to see his plan. If there is a plan I deem it was to spark the universe and then the rest is up to us and any other lifeforms that live in the vastness of this universe to explore and wonder at all that there is to see and know.
I wish the best for you, your friends and family in this trying time of crisis.

I don't dismiss science either and I pray on the current state of the world. I hope you and mother are well and wish you both the best.

Fantastic scene. Congrats on staff pic

I'm picking up where I left off...First, congratuations on getting Poser Picks of the Week. (Though you deserve that many times over.) Second, an old teacher used to say that aliens are inside of us---they're present in our darker emotions, darker selves, etc...we don't need to travel to other planets to find alien spirits. But your image captures a big vast universe, with a dark steampunk, gear-filled telescope, looking out into the cosmos. I love the old iron-clad look of that telescope, and the comet (which divides your image into upper and lower). And that big moon. And the two huge 'walls' which enclose this observatory. Dark and mysterious and beautiful. And your model looks like she's been peering into the mysteries for ages. A very moody, mysterious upload. And, with everyone else, I hope deeply that you and your mother will be healthy. I wish your mother all the strength in the world, and you too, Steve. And government relief will hopefully come soon. All my blessings to you. I'll drop you a line soon...
