Description
I know that others have built this subject, but with recent events I decided to finish this project I started 3 years ago. The model needs a 'paint job' though I'm not eager to map it. I became interested in the Spad XIII when I first saw one in my youth, but I never understood until much later that the pilots who flew this and similar aircraft in battle were protected by little more than doped linen over a wooden frame and parachutes were relegated to those in observation balloons. It was a daring individual that volunteered for such duty.

Excellent work. I'm also working on the XIII spad, but I'm far from the mark. Bravo again! PS: What software do you use?

Thank you for the comment. I used Wings 3D, and after posting the image I realized I left a couple of items out of the cockpit. However at just under 33,000 polygons I didn't want to tempt fate.
