Computer geek extarodinaire, I love to tinker with gadgets and tech items to get them to do what I want. I'm either logically artistic or artisically logical. I'm also rude, crude, semi-barbaric, socially unacceptable, and totally psychotic. On the bright side - I am potentially harmless. I'm currently trying to write some short stories about the fae as well as a novel on those same fae as well as two other novels. The programs I have for photo and image editing are: Photoimpact from Ulead, Adobe Photoshop 7 and Corel Paint Shop Pro 2X. Recently I've added DAZ Studios as well as Terragen, Blender and Google Sketch to my list of programs crowding my hard-drive.  All this and much more on an old Pentium III 450 with 396 Megs of memory and operating Windows XP. It does get interesting at time.As of December 26, 2008, I have added Vue 7 Pioneer to my list of reason of why I'm going insane.
As of January 2010 I upgraded to a new HP 2 dual core processor with 6 gigs onboard mem with 4 gig powerboost and 2.07 terabytes of Hard drivesMy email is faemike55@gmail.com

Very depressing Times Mike, none of us has gone through anything like this in our lifetime.
Yeah been at the store. If TP one pkg only or one PT only but not in stock most of time. Meats are 3 only, 3 hamburger and 3 of others.i picked up 3 Thursday and a TP. Got lucky was about 30th in line. Store had about 50 or so in stock. Makes you wonder how store employees make it with customers buying it all up? I'm just hanging out and praying my friend.
I do get to pick up a few hours on Sunday stocking bread. But not sure of future days yet.
Your doing a ace job helping them out my friend. Thanks for that. I hope things will come in more for you all.
God bless you.

It's people like you and the folks at Treasure House that provide light and hope in these times of darkness. There are those pathetic wastes of DNA that go out and hoard 6 months' worth of food that lasts 2 weeks before it spoils and no one can use it. And then there are folks like you. My heart tells me there are more good than bad - but sometimes I feel like it's time to take out the garbage - in a manner of speaking.
Anyway.... This is a delightful and well done image, buddy. Three cuties, and it looks like they're coming up with a plan. Glad someone is. Good talking to you!

Some days we need friends around us more than usual. We all go through hard times at one point and I have to admit that having so many super awesome friends here has helped immensely! I truly appreciate the support and love from everyone here. It doesn't cost anything to say something nice and encouraging to someone, especially when they're your friends.
Love everything you do, my friend! You are a wonderful person!

Oh. Fracking. Heck! That's so bloody wrong that you can't even do charity work properly because of insensitive, greedy ingrates. God help us all.

Just what we need, three cuties to raise our spirits. Rationing in the super markets sounds like a good idea. I'm with Rod, there are more good people than bad. Every day I read uplifting stories of kindness and generosity. Stay safe out there, Mike.

Well if two heads are better than one, three are amazing!
Hopefully more people will come to their senses and realize the farmers are still working. They are all about as distant as they can get.
Keeping you and your work in my prayers.

God bless you Mike! I hope that all people get through the bad times well. I pray for all of them!

I can only imagine the hardship you must be feeling Mike. SHAME on the greedy people who stock up six months supply which will go off in two weeks! What a lovely image in contrast as to how you must be feeling. My hat goes off to you Sir!

Cool work, Mike

What I noticed where I am is that at first people were more concerned with filling their homes with food and disinfectants than with avoiding infection. Or now he has the virus and too much food that he will throw away !!!!!!

Thanks for all you do, Mike--even with reduced hours you can still help a lot of people. Hopefully things will ease up in a month or so!

At least your Helping and not Hindering like some who just stick their heads up their bum and carry on blindly and hoarders are a blight on society. I usually try to give young people a break because I remember well what I was like when I was young and dumb but these Spring Breakers are outa they's Minds what the he!! they thinking...
UteBigSmile
Terrible, these nasty selfish people who think only of themselves and yet we should all stick together, I wish you much strength to survive this crisis! Hug's from the Doc and me!

I heard today of someone who bought 2 trollies full of bread, he had bought it to sell at his own shop, most probably at a higher price. When someone asked assistant why they let him buy it all the answer was "Its a sale" :o(((((( Only people making anything out of this are the big bosses of the supermarkets.
You are doing a great think.

Excellent work !!

Keep going mate, at least some of us are considerate.

Yep, it's quite sad that most of the people are stockpiling to the point that others have nothing else to find in the store. I ended up driving to 5 different stores to find something similar and not the exact item I was looking for. Quite sad how things have turned out from this crisis.
Navi
It's been the same worldwide it seems, here too in France loads of idiots did hoard toilet paper and all like if it was the end of the world... I hope you're doing well :)
adorety
Cute trio.
Yep, many people are pretty self absorbed. They are the main victim and it's all about looking out for number 1, themself. No consideration to consequences for others. Times like this can show people's true colors.
helanker
Seems the truth appears, when people talking about their own holiness and yet, only think about them selves in this difficult time, where we all should not hoarder and instead think about our neighbor's well. I am so glad to say, we have our nephew's wife shopping for us, (if they can get anything). She is our true angel. But oh my! All the people from Copenhagen seem to now coming to their summerhouses, hoardering in the local supermarkets and then, hurry back to Copenhagen and continue hordering. We live all year in our summerhouse, so we are depended on our local shop.

even every little bit is a help. great characters and set. And there are less than ten, so their gathering is considered okay.

Mike, thank you so much for all you do. I will keep you and everyone involved in my prayers

Wonderful girls and fine setting! A delightful view, Mike.
I've said it before and now again, 'these are the times that try mens souls.' And we are truly being tested. Will we pass the test? Well............. At any rate, it is heartening the hear and see stories of the heroism that still exists in our species even though there is still so very much that is rather ugly. Keep safe, Mike. I pray we all get through this one and learn the lessons it intends to teach us.
BellaDark
That's kind of heartbreaking, isn't it Mike. I'm so sorry it has come to this. Sadly with the hoarding a lot of people who are actually in need will go without. :( I hope things improve sooner rather than later. Bless you for doing the work. :)

Very scary world we live in! Great scene and POV!

Absolutely awesome... Wonderfully done once again !!!

Lovely render! Hang in there!

Your image suggests sheltering in place, and people pondering what to do next (as they stand cramped in that little chamber). And the chamber itself is on an 'island' in the middle of the cosmos---fitting for the present time. A very expressive way of visualizing the present, with all this isolation and emotions from pondering to panic over what will happen next. And your detail is really fine. A powerful evocation of what you and others are going through. I do hope things improve for all of you, as you are helping others get through this. And I take my hat off to all of you for being in the public---albeit at a distance---when so many others are staying home.

excellent!
