A small grab of the drum sequence recording process. What I need is some acurate audio grabs to create/sync my drum playing animation sequences for a song I am working on. My crude, but useable studio in the middle of the rainforest has all I need to put just about anything I want together. I stripped my drum kit down to it's recording layout. I have a couple of these kits that work together for jamming. But for recording midi tracks. only one is needed. This kit just talks to MODO Drums (by IKMultimedia) and gives me access to some of the best drum samples, I've heard. Makes my cheap e-drum kits sound better than a Roland, ...seriously! :) Like when I run two individual kits through sepetare laptops and use Modo on each machine, then run both through the mixer for a live sound? ...there's some serious noise happening out the monitors and sub. I have made a final decision on the look of the 3D kit I'll be using. It comes from the cool set "60s Band Equipment" made by hypnagogia for Daz Studio. I have a specific kit sound I am using for the actual song. So I made some mods to the 3D model's mats and layout to get it how I needed it. It's gonna work fine. For now, I gotta finish brainstorming my (virtual) band members.
