Description

In 1515, François 1er became king of France. He decides to build the Château de Chambord in 1519. The work will take place over more than a century, with interruptions. François 1er will come little to this castle, for hunting or to dazzle his guests, like his rival Charles V. En 1515, François 1er devient roi de France.

This was certainly someone's interesting architectural fantasy...the roof esplanade looks like it would be a perfect spot for some captures--wonder what's on it and if it's open to the public...once again, an excellent capture and info, J_C.

Chapeau l'artiste ! 🎩
