I see that Yves loved this---well, this has some very Yves-like qualities...Every so often, you make minimal images, images with very few elements; and you show your fans that you're as expressive at them as you are in your elaborate and opulent images. Your background is a wonderful wash of stone-like textures, with a band of flesh-tones in the center, surrounded by yellows and whites. And the two women (though maybe they're one woman) are minimally drawn/rendered with beautiful lines, and with wonderful smudges for their eyebrows, lashes, etc. The butterflies seem to be coming out of Patricia; and we can see that the two women are really the same---only you've varied each portrait slightly. Actually, you have a bit of Andy Warhol here---variations on the same face, lightening one's eyelid, darkening the other, etc... Beautiful, Ute. I have to move on (still some galleries I haven't gotten to yet---I'm very slow!), but you're doing really creative work, and I wish you great inspiration with it. I'll come back for more in the coming days...Stay safe and well, and the same for your large family!

Fantastic art work, Ute! Many fine kudos! My wife and I are staying home as much as possible. Still need to eat something once in awhile but we try to take as many precautions as possible with sanitizers and social distancing. We realize we are in the most vulnerable age group but what can you do. You live till you die. Then you find out what all this earthly activity was all about.

I think that the Chinese and our governments are hiding something from us, now they are all so overwhelmed with their lies, so that no one knows any more advice, I am 73 years old myself (René 65 with lung insufficiency, we both have to be hellishly careful and if I then see on TV how your criticism-resistant president still downplays everything and also presses everyone's hand, then the alarm bells ring at me, the USA will hit it mightily, you are only in the initial phase, I must not even think about it, then I get, just like the Italians and Spanish (they already have more deaths than the Chinese in Wuhan) heart fluttering.

Stevie, we are looking both to stay safe, but for the moment my man is looking more often to me, I have more and more days, that I can only move very slowly because of my severe coxarthrosis, but after all, my painkillers help and I can still drive, so we have no problems to go to the Supermarket!
