lol on the nudity check---see-thru tori... Actually, a lot of your bugs should probably have a 'nudity' check, as they're pretty well exposed! This is another beauty from you, this one in glorious golds and amber red-browns, with a fiery lower portion, somewhat akin to a very active digestive tract, or a womb; and it's got beautiful reds and fiery yellows, like there's major stuff going on in there. The rest of its body is a webwork that reminds me of the Brooklyn Bridge (I'm not kidding), with all its girders and criss-crossed beams. Very architectural/engineering-like. And two fiery eyes, w/ hues similar to that lower section...and your usual glowing wings. A real beauty, Tom. And thank you for your creative-journey comment---love how you turned it into a fantasy journey (w your bow to Giuliano/guilband). Very creative. You know, when I create images like that, I have no idea where it's going...I go on intuition. (Fact is, I can speak in detail on other people's art, but if I had to do that with mine? I'd be mute. I honestly can't "see" my art...I just create it.) So to get a fanciful journey like yours is a real treat.
