Description
S.H.A.D.O. - Straker's car HAWK for M4/V4
------------------------------------------------------
Version 1.0 - 10. July 2011
This stuff is based on the 70th TV show "U.F.O." and featuring one of
the car's used in the show. Additional you find Straker's pistol in
the props directory.
This meshs were modelled by SteveKitt in Blender for usage in D/S and
Carrara. Some added parts and UV's are done by me in Cinema4D.
But Steve was kind enough to give me his fine result for optimizing and rigging
it for Poser 5 and higher, recommended version 7 or 8 with
latest SR-packs. But should work also in DAZ Studio as far as you rework
some of the texturing. These are done mostly using the poser shader tree.
The cr2 will load fine cause not making high usage of the shader tree.
The texture shaders are derived/developed from various free ressources or
tutorials found in the internet and adopted best for the UFO theme.
The image maps are done by me, sometimes based on parts from free pictures.
Templates for the stuff are included but due to the complexity of the models
and the summarizing by material groups not all can be easy texured by template.
But all parts are best possible oriented for u and v directions. So use of
gradients should work best.
You will find figure files in characters and some parts also in the props
folders. Additional there are material poses if applicable and the base
material collections.
You will find most neccessary adjustment morphs as dials in the body
section of the figures. Exeption: the phone has to be adjusted in phone actor.
You may need all ofit's dials and therefor body dials are senseless duplicates.
Props will load smart propped. All parts are loading with their default texturing.

Wonderful model and tribute to the Andersons!

Another fine auto. Not at bad looking car. I prefer the Vanguard IV auto you posted earlier. It was also a hover car but with a classic touch that appealed to me. Well done!

Interesting car!

There was a car that was looking almost like that in the 80's, it was British I think, Lotus or something ? Nice work Richard :)

Looks like an excellent model he's put together, and you've showcased it beautifully, Richard!
I am presently taking my first "baby steps" into Blender as I'd like to try some modeling myself - and it's a heck of a lot cheaper than C4D...

very cool

It's fascinating to read your description: I don't know anything about this type of art (3D, modeling, etc), but your description brings a little of it to light for me. Big bright hues here, those reds and yellows are eye poppers. I also love the overhead view. A spacious, low-to-the-ground model, with a very clean shiny panel in the middle. I expect James Bond to get in, and fly away. Very sweetly done.
(Btw, I tried Blender 3 or 4 times, and I lost my mind. The time it took to model a simple "sphere" knocked me over. It's for people with immense amounts of talent in modeling, and a lot of patience. I could barely model a dot!)

Very good 👍
