I had this marked for comment, got interrupted, and it became lost in the shuffle. So now I can say what a tremendous job you did on the textures. A great decision to emphasize the exquisite granularity by bringing the camera so close.

also, as the gods of Jpeg would have it, an image they have been tangling in front of me for two weeks now: the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Maybe I can get to it by next week :-/
