Description
50 years ago, Jimi Hendrix released the seminal "Band of Gipsys" (complete with mis-spelling!), his first record without his regular band, The Jimi Hendrix Experience. Its often cited as the cornerstone of the development of funk rock in the 70s, and is one of my all time favourites (not least for the Buddy Miles classic "Them Changes", which Miles reprised a couple of years later to great effect with Carlos Santana).
The outfit is a has of the daz buccanneer (recoloured/modded) and pretty3D's "deep blue". A big shout out for mcasual's superb Stratocaster freebie; actually far better and more accurate than many commercial guitar props out there!

super homage to one of the true music heroes of our past; sad he was ripped off by his manager(s), but suppose he wasn't the first and won't be the last

A fabulously cohesive and coordinated composition, Joe. Even the guitar's déco is well integrated and exactly what a woman would have done with it. The emotion is palpable :-)
