went to the Oriental market today for groceries and seen this and one other vase that was hidden from view before

a lot of these commercial vases are based on traditional styles, and they can be quite stunning. You got real clarity on the flower painting, as well as on the trim and the ornament on the top half. It looks like a dark space, but you have real light on the vase. And The background stays quiet so the vase can speak. (And it's jarring, lol, to see a price tag on it, with "grocery"---just what those Chinese masters wanted! I'd love to see a Rembrandt or Michelangelo with a tag, "Groceries---$45,000,000.00".) With Rod, a sweet shot.
