We don't have much of interest close by, but we do have an absolutely fantastic Zoo in Colchester. Unfortunately, this is under threat of closure due to the Coronavirus restrictions meaning that currently, they are unable to accept visitors. Sad to say, if this is not resolved soon, we could well lose them for good. A huge amount of money is needed to care for the animals and grounds, and to pay for their absolutely legendary conservation efforts, and the lack of income is a threat that can't be ignored. It would be a tragedy to lose them, for so many reasons.
