Description

Hi Everyone - I just couldn't let the holiday pass without wishing you all a wonderful Spring, Easter, Passover and health and strength in a very difficult time. For all of you who celebrate Easter or Passover, the biblical spring was the first month of the year---the original "new year"---just as it was in the ancient Roman calendar, and many other ancient civilizations. So I hope you all have rebirth, strength and beauty throughout this crisis, and long after. The image is a mix of things, designed (as best I could) to convey 'light breaking through'. I'm not at my best right now, but I hope a positive feeling comes through. I'm well, but my arm and shoulder are staging a revolt, because it's hard to see physical therapists, chiropractors or massage therapists now---because of the lockdown. I've done lots of stretches, pressure points, etc, but it's slow, and some days it's hard to do anything with my arms. I truly can't complain, considering all who've gotten sick, and the unfortunate souls who've passed. I know a few, and it must be very hard for any of you who are close to such suffering souls. I just want to send all my love and wishes to you all, and I hope your spring (and all its holidays) is filled with as much joy as you can muster. Great thanks for visiting my work, and for still posting all of yours. It's a genuine gift! Take care of yourselves, m (fuller zoomed) ------------------

This is wonderful, Mark - it almost feel like the sun is exploding through the darkness and shooting down a bunch of nasty viruses in flames, never to rise again.

Hope your Easter / Passover is excellent, and you are able to celebrate in any way you can. There's not a lot to celebrate lately, but there are lights in the darkness to show the way. You are one of those lights, my friend! Keep shining...

One day this will be over... And I hope when it does finally end that things don't get back to the "old normal." I hope a "new normal" arises. A "normal" where we finally realize that a common enemy - like this virus - does not recognize borders, language barriers, skin color, religious affiliations, political affiliations, levels of affluence, or whether or not you believe in Santa Claus. We are one. If we learn anything from this crisis I hope it's that.

Stay safe and well, Mark!

Hello Dear Mark -- Thank you for this amazing image, one filled with beautiful, vibrant colors and light--something we all need during these sad, dark days...We shall overcome this episode of tribulation, and hopefully it will be a teaching exercise to be more caring for our fellow man, regardless of their race, ethnicity, creed, gender, etc. Please stay safe--you are in my thoughts :)

A beautiful image and your wonderful writing is giving an aura of hope and love. I am sorry that you are in pain. Try, with soft movements, to work with your muscles. No way that we can see a doctor or a physical therapist right now. Very tragic that so many people have lost their lives. We also lost a friend. A nightmare that humanity is going through, and when it is over an international organization should be created for fast prevention. Thank you for your Easter and Spring wishes! Take care and stay safe, Mark! Regards from a sunny and lonely city, with only a few seagulls flying!

A beautiful way to show that even in the darkness, there's always a light to guide you.

Image that touches the deepest parts of my feeling a sensation of explosion of light from the darkness of evil (also understood as disease). Light that defeats the dark leaving a joyful dance of colors as if to signify that in any case there will always be a new colorful life beyond everything. As always, your images are absolutely full of beauty and meanings.

You say you are not at your best, for me this is not for your art, I think it is some sort of phenomenal invention of yours, or one of the phenomenal inventions that you made many of, and let us enjoy. . The turquoise sun in its literal radiance radiation impressive, and gives me thoughts; because I wonder what exactly the effect is on those colorful particles. Is it an enchantment of colors that these particles take on or absorb, or are these all brightly colored viruses, which will disappear like snow in the sun? Anyway, stay virus-free, dear Mark, and I hope you'll find a remedy for your arm and shoulder.

I wish you a healthy Spring, Mark. This image is cool. I see the bright light shining down. The light is full of hope and good tidings. The blue is calm and the yellow is hopeful. May these hard times pass swiftly and may we come out the other end smarter and kinder and more understanding of everything around us. Be well. hugs

Hi Mark, sorry to read of your arm and shoulder condition. You'll find that these things don't disappear very soon as you get older. The immune system alone weakens as one gets older. Believe me. It can drag on for eons, just like many of my physical impairments. Otherwise, great interpretation of what could be platelets, viruses, bacteria blue/white cells, amoeba, etc., floating up a dark river within an artery or aorta, as displayed in another one of your masterful postings. As for Easter and/or Passover/Pesach holidays go, I wish you the latter, (why do people wish you in particular an Easter greeting? Don't they know your religious bent?) although I've never felt more atheistic as I do now.

Hello Mark, thank you for Happy Holiday and I do like your colorful composition, it takes me back to the famous decade from 1970 - I was young and art was expressive and experimental! Wish you all the best for health and less pain in shoulder and arm - thats not fun to have pain all day... did you tried to work with "blackroll" as replace for physical therapy? To me it works great! best priska
