Description
Captured off the stairwell wall early in the morning on 10/15/19.
Wall plate itself is only 1/4" thick.

You excel at bringing out beauty in the most commonplace objects, Harry. The shadows and texture here are wonderful.

Ditto, Rod, and the others. Masterful, Harry. Great hues: The wall plate is aflame, with 2 edges glowing like they're about to take off. Great shadowed beige too, with those terrific shadows. In the wall, you brought out deep grain---with great shadows again. And you have this diagonal on the right, made of deep brown (a kind of crimson brown): I don't know what that is, but it's a wonderful 'punctuation mark' to the whole piece, and it gives this an even more abstract feeling. First rate work. It shines.
