A moving message
New year resolution 2023: I have been a member of this site for about 10 years, but now I feel it is time to move to a site with more traffic and interest.
I still will occasionally pass by, but any request or comment that needs answering may take a loooooong time.
Should you not have noticed during the last two years my main account now can be found here: https://www.deviantart.com/maruberlin
And yes, there is quite a good chance that there are renders of mine containing nudity on that site.

The same where I'm concerned...a message (who sent it ?) was deleted this afternoon. Your image is a wonderful piece of art.

It could be that the poster deleted their own message because of an error, then reposted a corrected version? I've had occasion to do that myself once or twice when I've made an egregious typo....
In any case, love this Tron-esque image. no idea how you achieved this effect but it looks awesome!

Apart from finding a rather "historical prop" which rendered out of the box I had to dust up a G2M with its Nano-Suit, of which I only made the seams emissive and the rest invisible. Then colored the whole naked G2M black, so that the suit is not see-through, and rendered this in about 5 Minutes, Added some darkness with a color adjustment and some mor glow to get the emissives out more.
(and removed some of the artefacts in the Recognizer, since this is a REALLY OLD prop. Ouch, saw that film when I was almost 20...)

I've done that a lot, delete and redo. I'd say that's the most likely answer. What gets me are the messages that I have a comment where none exists.
And THAT is a very groovy Tron image. Yes I said groovy, I like that word.

I would agree, but this "message deleted" stuff is a very recent development, which never happened so far (I am a member for 8 years and never had that before).

wonderful work!

Wow

Amazing !

That looks really cool. (Me too - I've deleted a message in order to retype it because of a mistake.) On the free stuff I reported spam - and when someone posted thereafter - I got a notice that there were 2 deleted comments (the spam messages) and the 1 new message. So might be a glitch.

WOW taking me back to my childhood with the TRON style render. Awesome work

have had a couple, felt that some did not like what they said and deleted them and I hope commented again.

I love the Tron feel to this, it
s very very true to the movie
s design. This is wonderful. :)mightymysterio
Very very cool design. At first I thought you has used the Genesis Supersuit as some of its presets are Tronlike, but you created something truly unique. This would be a great poster!

OK - where's my TRON CD? Great work on this!
I've seen a few of those 'deleted' messages in the comment areas of my posts. Not sure, but I think it happens when someone makes a comment, then sees an error - like a word misspelled - and deletes it in order to correct the error(s). Just my $0.02..

Wooow very beautiful work on this one..ππββοΈ

Fantastic work! I haven't gotten any messages like that. I hope you get it figured out.

A good old movie with some cool effects for the time, the bikes were my fav...

Actually the Yamaki does make a good replacement, but I found the Recognizers easier and more prominent.

On deleting messages: Hi, all. A simple test showed that a "deleted message" is NOT the result of a removed comment under a posted picture by the writer.
Rtesian
This is so far off your beaten path that on reflection it is emblematic of RRun imagery. :-)
I had four such messages. In a row. But I will now remove your name from the list of suspects :-D

Thank you for your kind comment, take care of yourself, health is our greatest asset, friendly Kordouane !!

It was explained why they've implemented that notification: renderosity.com/mod/forumpro/?thread_id=2942917
I just deleted my previous comment on this image so you see how it works. Hope you are well!

Thanks, TwiztidKidd.
Wouldn't it have been nice if the admins I sent a mail to some time ago would have done what you did? In your profile I see no sign that you are an admin, so it's nice to see that somebody is taking their job seriously. Also, if the message text was more precise, a lot of distrust could have been avoided.
But now that I know that I am allowed to submit requests for changes on this site... (maybe it is my weird sense of using language, but 'submissive' seems to be the way, one wants one's customers to be - as long as they buy and pay, all is fine).
So, thank you for taking the time and helping me out.

Very interesting.... I like this a lot.

I wrote to Renderosity some time ago about these deleted comments and they told me that this is a new handle as the deleted comments were never shown in the past. For example: I write a comment on your site and I don't like it, then I delete it and rewrite it and this will be shown in your activ.feet. (without considering the name of the person) because anonymity should be guaranteed. That's all, there is anybody paying around in your gallery! Hug's Ute
