I've been using Facebook sporadically since the start of the year. I probably should look into deleting mine.

Even with the current state of emergency, bad actors can still be found anywhere in the world. That said, 1000 quatloos say Russians are more suspect than any in this election year.

Oh yeah, that's all you need in this period of extended anxiety and uncertainty. I hardly use Facebook myself, mostly because I don't want to be in a constant state of stress. Everyone has an agenda. And with the covid-19 I sure as hell don't feel like being social at the moment. Anyway, I'll keep any eye out for this nefarious hacker and zap his thing to smithereens.

Well, that really sucks...I use a program called "Mail Washer"--I can read the mail before it gets into my machine--Lately, I have been receiving lots of phising emails, but they get blacklisted and deleted--as far as FB is concerned, I deleted my account ages ago--waste of time site...but thanks for the heads up...As Rosanna Rossanadanna used to day, "it just goes to show you, it's always something — if it’s not one thing, it's another."

I stopped using face book probably more than 8 years ago. Been a while can't remember for sure.

lol, you and Wolf. (Not too encouraging!) I'm really sorry you got Facebook-spammed/phished/hacked...I know some people who've gone through it, and it's always ugly. It sucks, and I appreciate your warning us. (Though if I got such mails from you, I'd be suspicious from the start...you're not the kind of person who'd send out those kinds of mails to anyone.) Facebook, like all social media, is wide open to hackers...and though most people i know haven't been hacked---at least to their knowledge---it's bound to happen from time to time. I have an invisible FB account (w/ fake name), strictly to see some family and friends' posts (I dont think I've ever seen yours, but I haven't seen many friends' FB posts, so it's in no way personal). But I don't have a page, so I've not been attacked. I hope they find the culprit(s), and you can use your page again without fear. (The internet is so amazing, but it brings out the worst in some people...moments like this make one cringe. Hope they solve it soon!) All my best to Jo, once more. Hope she gets back to normal soon, and you get your server madness solved soon too...
