after 7 years i'm finally getting around in adding some info on this page. never really thought about doing it. i have been a member here since July 15th 2006, and have learned alot from fellow artists. i would have about 1300 images or so posted but have deleated many of my first pieces. and still consider myself a developing artist at this wonderful site. i'm 56 years old this year "2013" and was born in North Dakota. i have lived in Colorado since 1967 and enjoy this place alot. my stepfather was in the air force and we lived in Bermuda after North Dakota for a few years before coming here where he got stationed.. and so much enjoy many of the finest artist in the world who post here.. love you all and your amazing friendships we share.. lol Steve

Yeah, too many people have it already, I don't wish that on anyone, weather I like em or not.
We are getting stimulus packages up here, but there is a federal package for people who lost jobs over this nightmare, at least.
Personally, I just wrecked my printer, so guess who had to soak down cash for a new one.

Alive and kicking and still waiting on my stimulus funds. Although I get Social Security direct deposited every month I don't really expect any Stimulus hell Trump wants us old folks gone anyway. The way it sounds he don't care how many die from Covid-19 as long as he can re-open the economy...Joke him!

Paint it black? I am not sure that is a good idea; she looks to be ready to burst. She needs some care or a good companionship, in our so insane world. At least it is an efficient picture for inducing a good healing laugh! I love it!
Happy that you got your stimulus funds! Take care!

I can relate to this, I would love to paint every door in the house black. The setting is great right down to the dripping paint.
Health wise no corona virus has attacked our house yet, hope it doesn't. I hope it just stops, it's destruction is so far reaching. Glad you are doing well and stay that way:)

She is absolutely stunning - a gorgeous sweetie, despite her questionable skills with a paintbrush! 😆 Love the picture on the wall of the Mickster... Most appropriate for the title.
Excellent work as always, Steve! Glad you're doing OK, buddy. Just hang in there - this will be over at some point. The sooner the better.

wow, wow, wow, steve, you captured something way inside that classic Stones song...I don't know how, or if I can explain it---you just hit something right at the center of that song. I love that your model slabbed big black strokes all over that red door---like the black in the song, erasing pieces of Jagger's life...And you have a painting of Jagger on the wall---a real eye-explosion---and the woman's dress is like a painting. And a deep blue wall for strong contrast, with those stark white statues and masks...even the ladder has stark whites. You know your colors, friend...I don't think I'd have ever thought of this painting, when hearing that Stones tune, but now that I see it, it's terrific. Bravo! And I hope you continue to stay healthy against that virus...it's peaking in most places in the U.S., so let's hope it does, and then disappears for good. Stay well, and you did a great job on this amazing image!
