Just something i felt like making after skiming throught this game art book, also trying out new tetures =) this scene didnt come out as dark ad shadowy as i wanted it to be,and it feels like somethings missing..it needs something else but i dont know what =P but i think it still looks ok =)

I don'T know the words ... something like rings or so at the columns and coming out/in areas at the walls, the walls need bricks (use a relief-map) - for the wood youshould search for better textures or try it with SLA-presets, the woodtextures look to uniform, hope it helps :-)

thx =) that acually is a SLA wood texture lol maybe i can find something else =), i agree about the bricks in the wall...it would be kinda had to make a castle out of one big rock lol =P thx again =)

I like the texture on the columns ! The rock-texture on the upper part of the castle needs some work though. The door/gate is very well done ! About the feeling that something is missing: Maybe a path leading to the door/gate would add additional depth to the image.
