The Wuhan Virology Center is certified for handling biological material in a level 4 (military level) containment capability. That virology center was built with the help of France. Many countries of the world contribute financially for the operating cost of that research center. That virology lab has often been shown to fail level-4 containment (BSL-4) protocols. Research on various strains of bat viruses has been performed, resulting into scientific publications. Mixing of bat viruses has been tried and studied in that lab. Some studied bat viruses can be transmitted to humans and can insert themselves into human cells, with only mild effects. Was this research intended for military applications? I have no idea. What I suspect Probably, a mild, contagious-to-human virus has been "combined" with a SARS genome; it resulted into what is now known as the Covid-19 virus. Or, is it for directly creating a SARS-like weaponized virus and for using citizens of China as virus missiles to infect the western world (Wuhan citizens were forbidden from leaving Wuhan, but were permitted to take airplanes for international flights)?
