Description

Or cock of the walk, captured way back on 12/17/2005, at the beautiful Rancho Los Alamitos in beautiful Long Beach, California. Since being restricted to my home due to the Covid-19 nightmare, I've had more than ample time to go through my tons of files of endless photographs taken over the years. Remember not to touch your face. Again, do NOT touch your face.

Now that's a 'cocky' attitude if ever there was one! šŸ˜ Great shot of this cool chickie, Harry!

This is one very great-looking chicken - Iā€™d write more, but I would have to take my hands off my face. I had no idea until recently how much time I spend with my hands on my face!

you got a really complex angle on this cock, with all kinds of angles on its feathers. And that red mane really stands out against its zebra-like stripes. You caught its corpulence too. And the light on its talons makes real contrast with its dark hues. You caught "strutting" with panache, here---it looks like he's in a show! Great light on the sand too.

(Re touching the face: I had to go out for 20 minutes today--first time in days--and my mask was driving me crazy! I can't tell you how much I wanted to touch my face---it was causing major itching. It was a medical 'dust' mask, and must've been very cheap. I'll return to the cotton masks next time I go out, for sure...)
