the weather was a bit cool, no doubt still because of the light wind which chased the clouds. She anticipated the glow of the sun which gradually radiated her face, as one hopes for a future. Of course, that she regretted her walks on the moor in a light dress and on horseback, but she also knew that the ominous birds would leave her domain, she saw it as a sign for tomorrow.

Beautiful composition; puts me in mind of "The Bride of Lammermoor" by Sir Walter Scott.. or Donizetti's "Lucia Di Lammermoor" if you like it musical.... The sepia tone looks great

Nice job. I like the old fashioned clothing along with the old sepia coloring of the whole image. That castle looks old, too!

Another of your yearning 19th Century images (they feel like they're from the 19th Century, in fact they feel very British to me, like they're from the South of England, on the Moors...) It's beautiful and haunting. Your color, in this version, suggests yearning and memory...a deep red-brown-sepia. And you have a woman in the mid-ground who looks like she's yearning for the horse-rider...while the woman in front is perhaps yearning too. Maybe she feels left out...Lots of suggestion in this image, and the birds, the darkened sky, and the castle all suggest a brooding, looming feeling that hovers over them all. Very sensitively done. Your mixed media work is very emotional.

It is very good!
