30 april 1945, 75 years ago...
Hitler died, 10 days after his 56th birthday.
He lost the War..
Not only because of Stalingrad
Not only because of USA involvement (although it helped)
but alo because of his mistake to invade the Netherlands
Germany lost the Battle for The Hague (may 1940) with such an amount of loss (material and men) that it became like the bite of a Komodo Dragon.
True .. the Dutch had to surrender after the bombartment of Rotterdam ... but the wound that the Dutch Army inflicted became, in the end, a major reason for the fall of the 3rd Reich.
