wow Barb, you did this almost as fast as I did. I love what you did with it: Those metal sculptures (of resting people) look like pendants too, or brooches, or link chains all-piled-up. They're terrific with Rod's starry marbles. And ditto the pocket watch, and all your light flares. Rod turned these marbles into a starry night, and you celebrated them with silver, pewter, a beautiful old pocket watch and your usual way with mixed media. It shimmers. Happy Birthday Barb, and I'll post your piece by tonight, or early saturday if I don't finish final touches by tonight. (Unfortunately my arm went crazy yesterday, so I lost a day.) Happy birthday regardless, and I hope you have joy, rest, peace, health and love. You deserve them all.

i remember the times we used to play outside (at all times no digital devices in my youth) and we had this big sandplace by the football field.it was fun,we build roads in the sand and played "tour de france" with the marbles and other games as well. i am speaking of the early 60s.the world was somewhat safer in these times,kids where able to play outside until the evening hours,we walked a mile to the school and so on,not soo much creeps and sickos around then.
