It's superb but also heartbreaking...if it's depicting our future, the end is at hand ! I think we must remain very cautious, our health is more important than the rest.

A brilliant idea and an excellent realization that shows the current situation: distancing and confinement, bans of all kinds...an imperceptible slide towards dictatorship...I really like the "I love You" on the mask! Great work, my friend ! Stay safe and take care !

I really like how their eyes connect - we can’t see his, but from hers, we know. That extra space offered in the mirror is also a nice touch. I’m asserting my constitutional right to stay indoors. No gun required. I DO wish isolation inspired neatness, however. Getting pretty deep in here. 😻 Thanks for all your Covid images. I really don’t talk about this stuff anywhere else. It’s easier here for some reason.

@mtdana and my hubby - It is frightening to see in the news what is on your agenda, there will be murder and manslaughter, as if thousands of dead and millions of unemployed are not enough! Take care it's not yet over, this ugly game is now in the second round!

Funny how the right wing seems to value good 'Christian' values like profit over human life. Alberta is going to do the same thing as well. Screw the public, there's money to be made. I could go on ranting but I won't.

Through a looking glass, darkly. A most imaginative posting reflecting on this continuing nightmare of strife. Reminds me of a family out to visit their elderly relative in a nursing home or assisted living facility, being only allowed to speak and wave through a pane of glass because of the dreaded Covid-19. Keep up the good work.

a very touching image, Steve (well, literally; but it's very touching emotionally too). It gives the impression of a lover wishing her soldier-boyfriend goodbye...though I don't think he's a soldier, and I think they're just touching each other via social distance...I saw the "I love you" from the start (on her mask---I always zoom your pieces to full size, I wouldn't wanna miss a detail!), and it's touching. The purples are all over her side---from that beautiful background, to her outfit, to the wall, to a purple 'mist' that seems to hang over the whole image...
But the mystery is---where is she? Behind a window? Inside a mirror? A beautiful set of illusions...the way this whole covid-time feels like an illusion. It's really well done, Steve, because it feels totally real, yet like illusions abound...It's all in your title, "Through the Looking Glass": Magic abounds....Beautifully, thoughtfully done, Steve.
Glad you got some free hotspot for a few months! And there wasn't an image on my last upload (the barb dedi), I left it blank: So you were doing fine. I hope you're holding on through this, and I hope colorado sees a waning of the virus. (It looks like that, from the news, but I know it could get worse very quickly...I just hope it starts getting better for all of you. Take care, Steve!

Take care of yourself, health is our greatest asset, friendly Kordouane.

A wonderful sign-of-the-times scene, Steve. This is sad yet romantic. In times like these, if you love someone you stay away. Weird, huh? I like the colors in this and the window/glass, it looks realistic.
Sentinelle
A beautiful and moving image. Thanks for creating this wonderful artwork.
Desgar
A beautiful and poignant scene, Steve. One would hope that soon they would be able to touch once more. Well done!

Nice work. I was in a busy market recently and looked at the scene of everyone with their masks on and for some reason it seemed surreal.

Fantastic image. No one has the answers. So I'm just waiting and seeing before I go out much.

Awesome image Steve......it's both beautiful and sad, at the same time.

In this time its a great picture of mood we are in. Touching is already a offence and this makes you think how vulnarable we are
