Description
it had hitched a ride into my house, so I put her on the porch. I got a good focus with no wind blowing
I have been under the weather since yesterday. I have not eaten hardly any food for 2 days. I think a second vaccine for shingles made me sick
got bad news today about my half brother. he had cancer twice before and my sister thinks the last bout got into his blood. his platelet (hospital) count was "1" ( a small cut and he could bleed to death) and low blood cells also.

Beautiful capture, Richard. Good thing it was a ladybug, and not say a bedbug, like the one I found on my bag at work long ago...
Praying for you and your half brother.

With much displeasure I feel about your health problems and those of your half-brother, we are said that ladybugs are a sign of arrival of luck, I hope that this that came to you will bring you a lot especially for health. The photos you exhibited here today are as always well done and beautiful. Thanks for sharing your work.

nice capture, those we get a lot of at the end of the year, so much so I have to build them a small cardboard shelter to stop them trying to come in the house :)

A lovely sharp capture of this little lady, Richard! I do hope the legend about ladybugs being a sign of good luck is true for both you and your half brother. This is a bad time to be sick in any form... Not like there's ever a good time... Take good care, buddy!

yes, like rod says, this isn't a good time to be sick---I hope you start feeling better soon. And I'm very sorry to hear about your half-brother: I hope he is ok, and that his blood starts getting better. Cancer can leave a lot of bad effects in its wake. All the best to him.
Beautiful light on these almost glassy leaves, with that lone ladybug traversing the large landscape of that leaf. A very luminous shot. And the l.bug is clear as can be.
