Description
something I made a while back from 'spare parts'...
(ie, old images that were sitting around, binging on old videos and eating me out of house-and-home...every so often you gotta do something with the little beasts, or they'll take over your home)
Just some color for a fine May morning...
Hope you're all well, and thanks for your wonderful comments!
Stay well,
m

The operation you did is not absolutely trivial, I believe that only you digging into your unconscious can derive a motivation. It reminds me of a period of many years ago, when I used to work a lot taking pictures a little bit a bit there. At some point I was under stress from the type of work and on the first occasion that I had a little break I picked up all the material made in the scraps of time. There I found a mine of stimuli often unfinished to perfection but very interesting. As in a dream, or perhaps a nightmare, I began to combine them, giving rise to something that in a certain sense represented my state of confusion. As in a bad dream I downloaded all the anxieties and negative sensations in the images, having a mental liberation, it was also therapeutic as well as getting an interesting job. Maybe something similar for you too with these images that suggest to me the idea of a cosmic contrast / interpolation of the positive and the negative

nor do I, but love the vibrant colors on both panels of your creative manips Mark. I so miss my SLR camera I lost back in 2006. now just have a camera phone. even though the mega pixels are greater then my camera, it still does not work as good as the camera. keep up your stellar work bro. and stay safe in your big city.

Well, I see: The Creator trying to decide if Earth is worth it. They have a large magnifying glass and They are using it to inspect mountains, rivers and cities of all shapes and sizes. They're not sure about what They see, so the inspection goes on day and night. Fires, plague and murder beasties... do the people of Earth care about each other enough to continue providing them with stunning sunsets and other wondrous sights? The jury of One, is still out...

We never know if we could find such beaty in the farther space. It does look like something from out there. Looks fantastic, Mark :-)

I'm not sure, either, but they sure are colorful! I think they get bored sitting around at your place every so often, and decide it would be fun to run a few laps around my dreams..... I have some weird ones now and then... I think it's these.... LOL
Such wonderful explorations of color and shape, Mark! You've taken recycling and kit-bashing to a whole new level... 👍👍

eekdog has only a camera phone? That won't get it done. I have five regular cameras, two SLRs among them. Ironically, most of my current work is with a simple Panasonic point and shoot. Photoshop does the rest. Ergo the other cameras are packaged else somewhere. But I digress. Love the bits and pieces of extremely colorful and sharp items that you used to create this entrance into a dream-like universe of Nth dimensional worlds, Mark. I almost feel that I'm floating along with it. Anything to escape our present and deadly Covid-19 nightmare.
