Description

This one is a continuation of a previous pic called "episode 10 scene 30: in the Szaara caverns". Poser models. Rhino props. Rendered in Bryce. A lot of postwork in PhotoPaint 8, including the "webs" wrapped around the figures and background. Note: Because I create my pics out of sequence, refer to the "tint" of the thumbnails to identify groups of pics that belong together.

There is only one way to describe your work. It is bloody unfair to the rest of us! You make us all look bad! Apart from that, great work, I love it as always.

masterful use of focal blur James! - the postwork painting is flawless, and on top of all that technical excellence, there's a great illustration, with GREAT story telling and composition. There is no doubt in the viewer's mind as to what is going on here. ( Our heroine trapped by evil spider type aliens along with a load of other poor unfortunates - only...wait! she has the tracking device attached to her belt, allowing Claude to find her, and affect a timely rescue...) - And that's the trick - to convey a whole scene (of a movie - your images are v. cinematic) in one freeze frame - that's what illustration is about, and so few people can do it - and certainly not to this level! Top notch! Have a beer! ;) (BTW - it's an absolute SIN that you're not up for the bryce AOM)

Pete said it! - It is truly excellent, as with all your pieces, they are masterful in every way! - and I agree 110% on the AOM! - I look forward to your work more than any other artists here, so keep em coming James!!
