I'm just your boring average ex-account who wasted a lot of his youth playing fantasy RPGs (Role-Playing Games), specifically Dungeons & Dragons and Stormbringer/Elric, originally for outside Philadelphia PA who turned to computer graphics as an artistic outlet. I spent 30 years from the mid 80's to late 2012 living in Palm Beach County FL (North Palm Beach to be specific), working for not-for-profits in the social service and health care arena, but suffered a health crisis due to undiagnosed diabetes which had me in the hospital for 5 months, cost me part of my left foot, and has taken several years to recover from. I now live in Milford DE to be near family. My diabetes has left me with advanced renal disease, forced me to start dialysis, which I can fortunately do at home, but has me locked up for an hour four times a day (which allows me plenty of time to keep up on my gallery comments), but I still have a fair amount of independence and my health issues aren't nearly as bad or inconvenient as many others are. Most of my work is inspired by those fantasy RPG campaigns I wasted a lot of my youth on. I tend to post series of images with rather lengthy narratives that add up to short stories, or chapters in on-going tales. Thank you for your interest and attention!
Update:
Due to a very seriously broken ankle and shin I've been stuck in a wheelchair for over a year with an external fixator on my right leg, but I'm still managing to get by on my own.

The first image in "Book Two" of the Table of Five series. For those unfamiliar with the Dungeons & Dragons and the Forgotten Realms, here's a quick primer for the terms not fully explained in the text;
Ghast/Ghoul - two types of undead creatures created by reanimating previously living humanoids through magic. They are evil and hunger for living flesh.
Golem - a variety of animated statue-like contractions controlled through magic.
Gobliniod - A class of evil humanoids including goblins (small greedy creatures), hobgoblins (human sized, cruel creatures) and bugbears (large, greedy and vile monsters).
Mithral Hall - a dwarven stronghold in the Frost Hills. It is a network of natural and carved caverns and mines producing a extremely rare and valuable metal called mithral.
Silverymoon - a large city known as a center of learning and culture, often called the Gem of the North.
I hope you enjoy!

This "book" is s more traditional "dungeon crawl" type adventure... which is a departure for me.

You never know what might be lurking in the shadows in a creepy dungeon... This "book" is sort of a departure from my typical character based story-lines... its more of a traditional "dungeon crawl" centered around one main battle scene.

This "book" is a departure for me... I prefer to do character based stories rather than action based ones.

It is like there is some unseen being with a book of predetermined events they must act against. Starting with the action is not a bad thing. Sometimes it is the only thing that will work.
