after 7 years i'm finally getting around in adding some info on this page. never really thought about doing it. i have been a member here since July 15th 2006, and have learned alot from fellow artists. i would have about 1300 images or so posted but have deleated many of my first pieces. and still consider myself a developing artist at this wonderful site. i'm 56 years old this year "2013" and was born in North Dakota. i have lived in Colorado since 1967 and enjoy this place alot. my stepfather was in the air force and we lived in Bermuda after North Dakota for a few years before coming here where he got stationed.. and so much enjoy many of the finest artist in the world who post here.. love you all and your amazing friendships we share.. lol Steve

Apparently if everyone wore masks, that would stall the spread. Be safe, Steve! parish is gorgeous!

I understand your worries, even the most experts in scientific fields related to the crisis are not agreeing with any single conclusion. That virus is something totally new in science. Nobody has reached to a full understanding of it.
Interesting picture; this lady holding a dim lantern in an empty church; it has a deeper meaning than one might think. We are entering in some form of the Drak Ages, where there are so many lies, by individuals and by the authorities. We are to be vigilant, not only about possible infection, but also about what is written and said. Hoping that your muse will come back.

There's a bit of a mysterious atmosphere in this scene. It's up to the spectator to invent the story...Excellent work, my friend !

Alone so no mask is OK, nicely done Steve!!!

With this outfit she might attract both more visitors and surely some grudgers. Here they opened the churches, but no singing and only for a limited number of worshippers.

Nice work on the scene, Steve...one doesn't need a church to worship...know what you mean about your muse being on vacation :) Keep staying safe...

I think she's going to be waiting a while.... Seems like this crap is going to go on forever...
Excellent work as always, buddy! I know what you mean... I think my muse called up your muse and they're out getting plastered together... With proper 'social distancing' of course....

Steve, you are a wonderful and awesome friend! I'm sure your church lady friends can't hardly wait to see you again. Church is a good place if you're remotely religious and looking for a good woman to spend your life with. All the best to you, my friend!!

Amazing image Steve, I really like the church background. Great lighting and atmosphere. Even with the brick and mortar churches shut down due to the pandemic we have technology and still have our virtual churches. I go to my churches website every weekend and click #online church-YouTube and still attend church at home. Superb Work Steve!

The image is lovely! I'm sure your mother understands; better to eat at home and be able to celebrate Mother's Day next year. If people continue to take this seriously and follow the CDC guidelines I think limited necessary trips will be okay. I'm not up for big shopping events or gatherings of people. The internet gives us great options even for local businesses. I think face mask and gloves are going to be our new normal for awhile. Just my thoughts. Stay vigilant and keep the faith for with it comes hope.
