Description

I wanted to make a figure walk in an arc without hand-keyframing. This is what I came up with. The cat is inside a Null. The center of the Null is the pivot point of the arc. The distance between that center and the center of the figure defines the radius. The Null rotates about its Y-Axis 45 degrees every 30 frames. A "walk in place" Aniblock is used. It takes a bit of finessing, but by animating the Null, I can do almost anything a "walk path" can do. I'm happy with this. :-)

It looks good - also sounds like a lot of work to make a cat walk in a circle - next time try a real cat and a laser pointer - probably easier ;-)

I've already done that. Now I can't get him to stop.
