I enjoy creating artwork in Poser, Photoshop CC, Vue, and DAZ Studio. I also have a passion for photography, and have been actively shooting for many years. I've been using Poser since Version 8, and am also learning my way around DAZ Studio. I've been using Adobe Photoshop since version 4. I also use Vue 10. I frequently use my photos as backgrounds, and composite my 3D figures into them.
I have been creating my web comic / graphic novel "The Girls From T.N.A." since fall of 2009, and have been a member of Renderosity since August 2009. I've made a lot of wonderful friends here, and have been inspired every time I visit!
I will soon have a more complete biography, as I am updating everything. In the meantime, have a look around my gallery!
Thanks!
Rod

Very cool work, Rod

The expression is very well rendered and the composition gives well the impression of loneliness of the character. The neon light behind Natali's head suggests all the thoughts that are going around in her head...Excellent scene and great thriller atmosphere, Rod!

Hehehe what have you done to her???? Excellent looking scene, I can even feel the depression!

Nice one, Rod...like the atmo...she looks like lots of thoughts and emotions running through her mind...she's tough, but very vulnerable at this moment...

A little hootch and some good sounds pumping out of the Wurlitzer (?) . . . . . nothing wrong with that. But, an attractive woman drinking all alone . . . . . yeah, that IS bad. So maybe . . . . good girl gone (temporarily) bad ?!?!?
Nice work, Rod !!!

oh this is perfect for our time. I don't know remember character (I'll look at G-C's link later), but you sure caught a soul in a quagmire of doubt and reflection...like she's at a crossroads...terrific characterization. The room is much longer than she is---she's just one piece of the scene---yet her posture, = expression, the way her hair shadows her face, her clasping the drink and staring into infinity---all make her the center of this long, empty bar. (Really fine composition too: the drink and the pole behind it, the bottle and the break in the wall behind it, how her head is 'crowned' by that neon behind her, etc.)
Also, you created a melancholy reddish rust tone. And bottles with no labels, dark counter-front dark stools...a 3 a.m. scene if ever there was one. And that bright old juke box: I played in such places years back (blues and jazz), and those neon lights are bright oases in otherwise dark, melancholy rooms. To me, she conjures the old "it's quarter to three, and no one's in the place but you and me"...We feel she's going to come out of this purgatory, but we don't know where she'll wind up. Another of your "preparing us" images, beautifully done, and it captures the feeling of this time too. (And btw: "Moving scenes back and forth between Poser Pro 11.3 and PP 2014. The first time I tried pulling a PP 11.3 file from the laptop over to the main PP 2014 machine, I'd get a "Can't find Construct.obz" error"---Do you know how hard it is for me to make sense of that??? Man, what you do and what you know...Dr. Frankenstein in his underground lab! I know this is basic computer talk, but "construct.obz"? Really??? Hey, I'm a mac guy so I haven't a clue...I just fear that one day everyone's gonna hear from you, from the rings of Saturn, and you'll "send your regards"...Good luck with it, in any case. (Like you're not plotting the takeover of KC...) Great image, Rod, and thank you for your wonderful comments and for making my apt art feel so welcome. A few of you really made me feel great about that. Many thanks.

good posing and render love it

Great body language, and the hair is such an important part of the character. Wonderful lonely bar atmosphere and lighting. She looks like a confused girl, a girl who can’t find her way.
adorety
Wow! She really looks down in the dumps. Maybe the girls can find her and set her straight.
I had a similar thing happen when I accidentally added a third folder for Poser when doing an update. I was getting some errors and wondering why certain geometries and textures were coming from this "Public" documents folder. I found it and deleted it and started getting the errors with the skydome, though I also did not know that's what it was looking for. A reinstall and paying attention to the prompts fixed everything.
