J’allais poser une question à cet oracle, perdu que j’étais dans les ténèbres de mes pensées. J’avançais à tâtons dans le noir de mes doutes, j’avançais jusqu’au bord du gouffre, porté par l’odeur du souffre. A chaque traînement de pieds, j’avançais vers son dos étoilé qui ne me disait rien qui vaille, mais je voulais vraiment y voir clair. Dépassant de ses oreilles pointues, j’aperçus les flammèches de ses sourcils comme des boutefeu languissants. D’un coup, elle se retourna vers moi dans un craquement d’étincelles, en me confiant comme seule réponse la gerbe de ses idées néfastes, projetant l’éclat de ses yeux morts, maintenant devenus les miens.
