How well do I remember those so call THE GOOD OLD DAYS lol the headmaster would stand and us boys would line up... we would be asked such things as the 14 times tables or something in LATAN get a answer wrong 6 of the best on your hands Now days I ask myself why do I have pains in my hands... or the pain in the back of the legs... What about the girls well we never seen them in the school day only after school as we went home now you might think this is funny but something I asked myself many times I knew where the boy's went to the toilet but never seen the girl's toilet in any of the four schools I went to

We used to get caned now and again. I got 4 strokes of the cane for hetting 0 in my Maths homework - not just because I got them wrong, but because the Form Master thought I hadn't tried. On one occasion the entire school (600 boys) was assembled in the hall to watch the Headmaster give someone six of the best; but I forget what he had done to merit the exhibition. Those days are long gone.

It's good that those days are just in ur memory not our children I got six of the best one day ...I had been off sick a few days and when I came back someone had took my indoor shoes... I was told I should have took them home if I was going to be sick... now I ask you.. The cane it not only hit your hand on the way down but it bouced up and got the back of the hand as well so the six of the best was a lie
