Very cute guy. You did a pretty nice job of converting it to 2D, and I really like what you did for the background. If I may make a suggestion or two, it would be to clean up his underarm before running your filters. That doesn't look like fabric folds at all, and that same oddness is repeated around his middle button. Just a little clean up before filtering would fix all that. I also suggest removing the bump map from the suspenders before you render. Everything else in the image is softened with a kind of flowing brushstroke look, but the bottom of his suspenders are very detailed in a way that isn't harmonious with the rest of the illustration. Anyway, I hope my nitpicking doesn't come off as harsh – I really like what I'm seeing here, particularly your wonderful color choices. This is a very cool illustration of a quirky guy; you did a great job of showcasing his personality. Well done.
