Description

Beside of modeling tables I'm following a course about non-destructive hard surface modeling with intensive use of boolean and bevel modifier. This is what we've done so far.

Coming along nicely. Looks like the classic Technics 1200. Once complete it should be a much-desired Poser model as realistic-looking professional-grade turntables for Poser are still in short supply.

I'm not sure if I can turn this into a suitable Poser prop because of all the modifiers. ;) But I'm willing to give it a try once it's complete.

Would it work better in Daz studio perhaps?

Unfortunately not, the problems with the mesh with applied boolean modifiers are the same, it really looks ugly. The only thing I can try is to model another turntable from scratch without boolean.
