Description


This scene I wanted to make it look like students were on campus, but wanted it to render through my RTX card. ;) So, once I had the lighting, camera, and everything else, I used Scene Optimizer to lower resolution of textures, remove textures of thing not in sight (who cares what the building behind the camera looks like ;)), and used Billboards. I am hoping it comes out as a pleasing picture. :)

Interesting try. If I may offer some constructive feedback...:

I think the foreground characters don't really work (I assume they're billboards?) with the camera angle. We're looking perpendicularly at the foreground characters, but slightly down at the scene, immediately giving the impression that something is wrong there.

The characters's expressions and distant DOF effect seem to look rather natural to me, though.
